Live Music At The Galaxy: Edward Kyomoon & Tamra Sands

We had a great week of live music here at the Galaxy.  Edward Kyomoon on Sunday with a great show and many people filling the Zodiac Ballroom.

And on Tuesday we had another excellent event with Tamra Sands (RL Tamra Hayden).  There are few voices that can compare to hers.  If you missed this event you really missed out!  However we plan on having Tamra back again soon.

Snail Races aboard the Galaxy

Last Sunday we hosted the Giant Snail Races aboard the Galaxy.  And while SL didn't cooperate at the start, we did have a race.  Actually two one with the Giant Snails and once with the Tiny Snails.  It was a fun event even with the SL challenges.

New Exhibit at the International Gallery!

One of the very prominent galleys on the Galaxy is the International Gallery.  Encircling the Mall and only a few steps away from our Medical center, it is a great location to come sit and enjoy the display.

We are pleased to announce a new special art exhibit courtesy of Nicolo Anthony and SL New England.  Nicolo is the Curator for the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown NY.  He has brought the Currier and Ives collection into SL for display and further information is available whenever you click on a piece.

It is a great exhibit and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we are.

The Galaxy Docks with New England!

Through our Ports Of Call Program we visit many great locations in Second Life.  This month we are pleased to be at New England!  If you haven't visited then now is a great opportunity!  The Islands of New England is made up of many sims which are among the most beautiful in all of Second Life. Carefully designed terraforming and strict adherence to a New England theme makes for an unforgettable visit.   There are many activities including shopping, artistic galleries, hunts, and live music events.

Currently decorated for Christmas SL New England is a location you definitely do not want to miss!

What is our Ports Of Call Program?  Each month we have a new location that our guests can visit by simply going to our gangway and clicking one of the several teleporters.  You will be whisked away to our sister gangway at the Port Of Call.  Clicking on the sister gangway will teleport you back to the Galaxy.  It couldn't be simpler!
