The SS Galaxy's 6th Anniversary!

The SS Galaxy's 6th anniversary was a wonderful sucess!  A large thank you goes out to everyone involved.


We had live music with:

Ceci Dover

Frogg Marlow

Carah Nitely

And on Sunday we had:

The SoulMan DJ Bobby Eberhart with a most elegant contest

Then LIVE music with Maximillion Kleene

And Debi Latte closed our 6h Anniversary celebration!

And we even had our own cake running around!  What can I say, you will never know what you might see aboard the Galaxy!

Mark your Calendars!  It is the Galaxy's 6th anniversary and we are celebrating in style with great events all weekend:

Saturday June 8th:
CECI Dover *Live* 1pm  In the Zodiac Ballroom

We are pleased to present Ceci Dover live in concert!  Ceci was born and raised in Argentina and is currently living in Spain.  She has been singing all her life.  Music is her life and that comes through in every one of her concerts.    She gives many RL concerts and has brought her talent into SL for us to enjoy.  We hope you will join us for what is sure to be a wonderful concert.


Frogg Marlow  2pm SLT At the Zodiac Ballroom

Frogg is one of the first musicians to bring live music to SL.  His unique songs, combination of guitar, and wonderful vocals (not to mention personality) give each show a wonderful experience you certainly do not want to miss.  Whether  you are a fan or have not heard him before, be sure to join us for some wonderful music!

Carah Nitely LIVE 3pm SLT at the Zodiac Ballroom

We are pleased to announce we will have Carah Nitely Live in Concert tonight.  Carah sings a variety of popular songs including Angel, The Rose, Black Velvet, Think Twice and All I Wanna Do to name a few.  If you want a fun and never-the-same-show-twice then you will want to be in attendance.


Sunday June 9th
The Soul Man (DJ Bobby Eberhart) 12-2pm SLT At The Zodiac Ballroom

It is time for Sunday with the Soulman!  Do you like to have your musical soul touched?  Then come join us for a special Soulman Set in the Ballroom!  Bring your requests and don't forget that someone special!  We are also having a contest with the prize starting at 500L going to the most elegantly dressed.   


Maximillion Kleene Live 4pm in the Zodiac Ballroom

Maximillion Kleene plays a combination of Rock, Pop, Alternative and solo acoustic styles covering well loved classics to newer.  His vocal style is versatile, with a full toned acoustic sound...from soft and melodic to pulsing and energetic...a versatile, all-around rock performer with a sugary sound, smooth groove, a little punk edge and a lot of in-your-face ROCK!  Be sure to arrive early as he tends to fill sims quickly.

And our anniversary festivities conclude with:
Debi Latte LIVE 5pm In the Zodiac Ballroom
 

Debi joined SL in July of '08 and has been singing at venues all over the grid.  She honed her craft singing in RL choruses and choirs, at concerts and weddings, and with small local RL bands.  She also sang at the 2010 celebration of SL's 7th Birthday and performed in the Musician's Showcase in Boston at the SL Community Convention and at the 2010 Burn2 celebration in-world.

She lends her sultry voice to a mix of covers from artists such as DIDO, Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, Leon Jackson, Katie Melua, and Sarah McLachlan... mostly romantic songs and some oldies, but goodies! You never know quite what to expect at one of her concerts, but be sure to expect to have a great time!
