Summer Suite Sale Ends Soon!
The temperature is certainly rising and with that The Galaxy is having a Suite Summer Sale with 20% off all Suites, Staterooms, and Cabins! But only until August 1st.
If you were thinking about having a SL vacation (or renting with us long term) then now is the perfect time!
Just teleport to the rental finder that is on the pillar to the right of the desk in reception to see the current list of available rooms. When you find something you click click the little map button at the bottom of the panel and teleport to that room. Pay the box by the door and the room is yours!

Another Smooth Set with the Soulman

The Last Space Shuttle Launch
The Last Space Shuttle Launch happened today at 11:29 Eastern (8:39 SLT). Our theater was showing the spectacle for everyone to see. I never thought I would see the end of the space shuttle program without anything even remotely ready to replace it. It is very sad to see the end of a era. Ironically I am certain that no one at the time the space program was initiated foresaw people from around the world watching the last shuttle launch at the same time via a virtual environment. :)

Sunrise Yoga On The Galaxy
Want to get in shape for those new danceballs? You know the ones your partner just bought you and you have NO IDEA how to flex like that? Several people came to join us today for relaxing in great company! We have these classes on a regular basis so be sure to check the schedule and join us next time!

4th of July On The Galaxy!
We had a great 4th of July here at the Galaxy! First we had DJ Rockn' JTB (JamesT Benoir) at our Coral Lagoon Pool Deck. Great music and lots of requests. It was a real blast! The contest was best in Red White & Blue and as you can see everyone got into the spirit of the holiday!
Then speaking of a blast we had a great fireworks display
And later on at 6:30pm (by popular demand) we had another great show at our Sports Deck!

Carah Nitely's Celebrates her Birthday on the SS Galaxy!
Carah Nitely recently had a birthday and we are pleased she decided to celebrated it on the Galaxy in our Zodiac Ballroom! It was quite the event with Bubba C and the Bubbettes!
