Galaxy Holiday Catchup 2014

What has been going on aboard the Galaxy?  Lots, however I admit we haven't been posting here as much as we should have.  Something we are going to rectify.

Some of the fun activities we have had during the past holiday season:

The Kids Party for AV's and Zooby Babies with DJ Mandy went over well and we will have another one in the near future.

Everyone had fun and the excellent costumes made it hard to pick a winner.

 Then our Halloween party was Spooktculuar!  And some even got a doughnut stuck on their nose when bobbing for apples (how?  I have no idea ask Henning).

All of the costumes were great and choosing a winner was especially difficult.



Debi Latte had several wonderful concerts with us.  If you missed out don't worry we will have her back again soon.

Another wonderful performer Joaquin Gustav returned for several shows as well.  And shall be again soon (check our events calendar for updates).

And of course who could ever forget the concerts of Ceci Dover!








And not to mention our Holiday ball with The Soulman!  We even had our own holiday flying squirrel!

In short we had a great holiday season aboard the SS Galaxy and if you missed it?  Well fear not our next one will be even better.  And of course our upcoming events are always listed at http://www.ssgalaxy.net!  Something is always going on aboard the Galaxy!

The SS Galaxy proudly presents Love Art Weekend!

It is Valentines Day and what better time (or place) to show your love of art, not to mention that special someone?  

With a art exhibit including the works of: Blaize Batra, Fuschia Nightfire, Moeuhane Sandalwood, Sanspareil London, Antenna Rae, Asmita Duranjaya, Burk Bode, Em Larsso, Moeuhane Sandalwood, Neeks Karu you are certain to find something that speaks to you and have a wonderful time looking as well.  Not to mention all of the great events we have planned!  Valentines Ball, hunts, live music, and more!

Mark your calendars!  The Galaxy is the place to be this Valentines and continuing on into the weekend!

Ceci Dover LIVE In Concert

This past weekend we had another wonderful show with the incomparable Ceci Dover!  Ceci was born and raised in Argentina and is currently living in Spain.  She has been singing all her life.  Music is her life and that comes through in every one of her concerts.    She gives many RL concerts and has brought her talent into SL for us to enjoy.  If you missed this concert fear not!  Her next concert aboard the Galaxy is Saturday, February 23rd.  Be sure to check our website for up-to-the-minute information about all of our events and activities.

Carah Nitely LIVE In Concert Tomorrow 1pm!

Have you heard the incomparable Carah Nitely?  No then you are in for a treet!  She gave a wonderful concert last week AND she is back tomorrow (Saturday) at 1pm on our Zodiac Ballroom!

Carah sings a variety of popular songs including Angel, The Rose, Black Velvet, Think Twice, All I Wanna Do to name a few and she takes requests.  If you want a fun and never-the-same-show-twice then you will want to be in attendance.

3 Performances One Great Night

We had a wonderful day of concerts on Saturday. 

First we had Kain Scalia singing several classic opera songs among others.  A rare treat in SL.

Then we had Carah Nitely with her fun unique style and wonderful voice is that not to be missed.

Then we had Maximillion Kleene with his excellent vocal and guitar talents.

It was a bit of a adventure though due to the lag storm near the end of Carah's concert.  Max had a bit of a problem getting into the sim, but after a few minutes he did and we sailed though the storm.  Although as you can see Max had to do a bit of 'air guitar' for a few until we sailed out of the storm. ;)

If you missed these concerts fear not we have Ceci Dover and Carah Nitely back this weekend at 1 and 2pm!

We are pleased to announce BGSinger is returning to the Zodiac Ballroom this Saturday (December 3rd) at 2pm!

 
BGSinger Hermit is a classically trained vocalist who performs a wide variety of styles from jazz to country to pop to rock.  Whatever  style he sings, it flows freely and magically from his lips. You will be entranced with each note he sings!  You won't want to miss this performance!

BGSinger's last event was great and enjoyable for everyone in attendence.  This live music performer, is very personable, takes requests, and gives a unique experience at every show!
